A forward-looking venue born in 1970s Ragusa.
One place, so many stories.
Commissioned by Giuseppe La Licata, Teatro Duemila opened on 12 March 1977. Its name looked ahead to the new millennium, reflecting an architectural approach distinct from traditional theatres. The auditorium retains an identity rooted in 1970s design.
