Taormina’s Ancient Theatre preserves traces of its Greek origins and later Roman alterations. Its seating opens onto the Ionian coast: an extraordinary meeting of archaeology, landscape and live performance.
Getting there
Walk from central Taormina along Corso Umberto and Via Teatro Greco. If travelling by car, check parking options and restrictions on access to the town centre. From Taormina-Giardini railway station, continue to Taormina using local transport.
